Joël Yelouassi

Mobilisation and Communications Advisor

With a Bachelor's degree in Communication from the Catholic University of West Africa and a Master's degree in Ethics and Governance, Human Rights and Humanitarian Action from the Center for Research and Action for Peace (CERAP/IDDH) in Abidjan, Joel has  an extensive experience. He has received training in project management, journalism, and qualitative data collection, analysis and processing.

Passionate about humanitarian issues, especialy  children's rights and the empowerment of women and girls, he worked as a journalist and communication consultant for over 12 years. He also worked for the National Agency for Immunization and Primary Health Care in Benin (ANV/SSP), and was a consultant-trainer for Médecins du Monde (MdM) Côte d'Ivoire on advocacy strategies and techniques.

For the past two years, he has held the positions of Communications and Partnership Research Officer, and Legal Assistant to the Sub-Directorate for the Fight against Child Trafficking and Juvenile Delinquency (SDLTEDJ) for the Child Without Bars Program at the International Catholic Child Bureau (BICE) represented in Côte d'Ivoire by the NGO Dignity and Rights for Children in Côte d'Ivoire (DDE-CI).
