An online course by the IBCR Director General on Children and Justice in Emergencies

This Friday 26 March and Wednesday 31 March 2021, IBCR Executive Director Guillaume Landry will deliver a course on justice for children in emergencies as part of an online professional development course organised by Save the Children.

The 3-hour course will be presented to several participants from Asia (Bangladesh, China, Indonesia, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, South Korea and Sri Lanka) and East Africa (Ethiopia, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe), personnel from Save the Children, the International Rescue Committee, other agencies, or members of some governments.

Amongst other things, participants will be made aware of standard number 20 of the Minimum Standards for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action, a standard that was created in collaboration with the IBCR and the Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action.
