W.A. Firmin Sompougdou

Monitoring, Evaluation and Accountability Advisor

Firmin holds a master's degree in economics and management - option analysis and economic policies from the Norbert ZONGO University. He is in his 7th year of experience in the field of associations and non-governmental organisations, including one year of international cooperation in 2019 with a Canadian organisation. The responsibilities in his different jobs have allowed him to develop many skills and to acquire a good professional experience in monitoring-evaluation, capitalisation and accountability, especially for projects that had at the heart of their activities the promotion and respect of women's and girls' rights. In addition, he has skills in database design and management using new information and communication technologies.

At the same time, he is the founder and President of the Association D'Entraide Communautaire et Humanitaire (ADECH), an association whose main mission is to promote the respect of children's rights, through the schooling of children in difficulty or in street situations.

Firmin is currently deployed in Senegal with the Association des Juristes Sénégalaises (AJS) as a monitoring, evaluation and accountability advisor.
