She worked for nearly 3 years with the community organization Viol-Secours, CALACS (Centre d'aide et de lutte contre les agressions à caractère sexuel) in the Quebec City area, accompanying victims through the psychosocial, medicosocial, police and legal processes.

Marie-Soleil then worked as a human relations agent for the DPJ (Youth Protection Directorate) for more than 10 years. This work allowed her to accompany children and their families through the reporting process. Her role consisted of intervening according to the appropriate legal framework and taking into account different clinical programs with young people, their families and alternative living environments in order to support them in learning and integrating better adapted behaviors. She has been called upon to intervene with young people with behavioural problems, victims of neglect, abandonment, psychological, physical and sexual abuse.

Her desire to help and support people in difficulty as well as her experience, both in the accompaniment of victims and in child protection, will be assets in her functions as a Child Law Advisor in Tunisia.
