Hassan Ouali
Advisor in monitoring, evaluation and learning and fundraising
Hassan is a Monitoring-Evaluation-Learning specialist with over 20 years of international experience in applied social research, project and programme management and evaluation.
Throughout his career, Hassan has collaborated on several evaluation projects of international cooperation and social development programs in Canada at the community, municipal, provincial and federal levels. Internationally, he has extensive experience in planning and managing cooperation projects in the MENA region and Asia, particularly in Japan, as well as in capacity building in programme management and evaluation for civil society organisations.
His involvement in several projects and programmes for children has confirmed his passion for the promotion and protection of children's rights.
Hassan holds an MBA and a PhD in Japan. In Canada, he obtained a Master's degree in Public Program Evaluation and a postgraduate certificate in Public Health Analysis and Evaluation. Hassan is also an active member of the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES) and the American Evaluation Association (AEA).
In addition, he is a founding member of the Africa-North America Centre for Public Performance Development, a centre whose main mission is to share knowledge, experience and best practices between African countries and North America in the development and management of public actions (programmes and public policies).
Hassan is currently deployed in Morocco with the BAYTI association as a Monitoring-Evaluation-Learning and Fundraising Advisor.
