Third training for Canadian policemen deployed abroad as part of peacekeeping missions

As part of the agreement with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police concerning the training of Canadian policemen who will be deployed abroad for peacekeeping missions, the Bureau has conducted a pre-deployment training for a group of policemen headed to Haiti. This specialised training is about child protection, coordination mecanisms, documentation as well as the communication of information concerning children rights violations. This training also relates to proscribed  and encouraged actions while interacting with children on the ground.
