Second training of instructors for the justice sector in Costa Rica

A second training of instructors for the justice sector in Costa Rica was held from September 18th to September 21st, as part of the project regarding the fight against human trafficking. The participants from the Jucidicial Investigation Agency and the Public Ministry have gathered in Punta Arenas to complete the second and last part of the course. The first part was held from August 18th to August 23rd. 

This course was the opportunity to reinforce their skills about different topics such as their communication skills with child victims and witnesses of crime or also with children in conflict with the law. The training focused also on interview techniques with child trafficking victims, the principles that need to be observed throughout the evidence collection process during police interventions and the formulation of formal charges in case of human trafficking. 

The participants have also visited a centre for girls owned by the Youth Rector Institution in Costa Rica.
