Burkina Faso gets inspired by Tunisia’s judicial protection system for children

As part of the project “Capacity Building Reinforcement for Stakeholders in the Child Protection System”, funded by Global Affairs Canada, the IBCR has organised an exchange trip of good practices between Burkina Faso and Tunisia, last september.

Three activities have been organised for child protection actors in order to present the strenghts of Tunisia’s judicial protection system for children as well as the solutions that have been developed in meeting current challenges.

The first activity took place on October 27, 2017 during the Child Protection Working Group’s (GTPE) meeting. The second meeting was held at the IBCR’s office on November 6 for professionals of the justice sector and the third activity took place at the National Administration and Magistracy School (ENAM) on November 7 with teachers and administrative managers. In total, more than forty people have participated in theses activities.
