As part of the Capacity building project for the actors of the child protection system in Burkina Faso, a pilot course was organised by the IBCR and the National School of Administration and Magistracy (ENAM) to test the initial Justice training kit designed for ENAM students to reinforce their capacities in child protection.
43 people participated in this pilot course. The objective was to experiment with the content and teaching methods of the training kit. This event was also an opportunity to gather comments and suggestions on the kit and the tools used throughout the course. IBCR members also promoted a competency-based approach which was really appreciated by the participants.
This pilot course led to good results, thanks to the quality of the participation and the comments received as well as the good preparation of the facilitating team.
The IBCR justice expert in Burkina Faso will now be integrating the amendments with the support of the technical coordinator and the specialists in Montreal. The training for trainers related to this Justice kit is scheduled for late February.
