Yayra Dabla holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and Financial Management from CESAG (Centre d’Etudes Supérieures en Gestion). She started her professional career at Habitat for Humanity International and then at Ecobank Senegal. But her passion for working in development organisations caught up with her and she joined a British international non-governmental organisation, Oneworld UK in 2012. Her responsibilities quickly evolved from administrative and financial manager to programme officer.  Through her involvement in the use of ICTs for development, she has been involved in raising awareness of sexual and reproductive health in Senegal and governance through election monitoring in several African countries.

She speaks French and is fluent in English.
