Saharou Tigana

Holder of a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Legal and Political Sciences in Bamako, I have over 8 years’ experience in the field of human rights and local authority governance. Previously, I held the position of Regional Representative of the National Human Rights Commission of Mali in Gao, then Community Facilitator for the Institute for Popular Education, as part of the USAID/MALI-SIRA project, and then Assistant in the Planning and Governance Support Department of the Koulikoro Regional Development Agency.

In addition to my expertise in children’s rights, community mobilisation and adult education, I am doubly certified as a trainer in gender in humanitarian action and in gender, peace and security.
