Lucie Allingri Chevallet joined the IBCR team at head office on Monday 15 January.

She began her career in France, where she worked for 10 years as a social worker in adult psychiatry and then as a social work trainer.

She then turned to teaching children and adults, working in schools in Northern Macedonia for 3 years. She then moved into the development sector, working for 5 years in Morocco as head of education in a national NGO specialising in children’s rights, and then as an independent consultant. She developed face-to-face and online training tools in the fields of child protection, such as the prevention of gender-based violence and sexual violence against children. Finally, for the last 2 years, she has worked as a pedagogical advisor on a professional development programme for humanitarian child protection workers in emergency situations in West and Central Africa, alongside Save the Children.

Since January 2024, Lucie has been working as an educational engineering consultant at the Office.
