Goro Palenfo

After his studies in Sociology at the University of Ouagadougou, Goro Palenfo has followed a vocational training at the National Training Institute in Social Work (INFTS), which has enabled him to start his professional career in the public administration where he has worked as a state agent within the Ministry of Women, the National Solidarity and the Family, in Burkina Faso. During these years, he has served in various services at the regional and the central level of this specific Ministry. He has collaborated with the INFTS as a lecturer, coach of students trainees and director of Master’s thesis for students in Administration and Social Affairs.

The protection of the Child in Burkina Faso is a domain that Goro therefore knows particularly well, which has allowed him to accompany and strengthen the capabilities of several national organizations and associations working in this field. He is also a founding member of the “Social Impact Service,” a local association which aims to contribute to the implementation of the socio-educational policy of the Government of Burkina Faso, by proposing innovative services offers adapted to the social needs of populations.

He joined the project team of the IBCR in Burkina Faso in August 2017.
