Angie-Isabelle Barrientos

With a degree in Graphic Design from the University of Laval, Angie-Isabelle combines her interest in visual communications with her desire to make a difference.

During her internship as a social communications officer with Carrefour de solidarité internationale, she devoted herself to the fight gender inequality, particularly by combating domestic violence against women in Peru. Her creativity, attentive listening and attention to detail have been essential in developing strategies to raise awareness in the Peruvian community.

In addition to her achievements, Angie-Isabelle is also co-founder of a digital platform showcasing players and organisations in the east end of Montreal, demonstrating her deep commitment to social justice. She is fluent in French, English and Spanish.

Angie-Isabelle joins the IBCR in July 2023, bringing with her her passion and expertise to contribute to impactful and international solidarity projects.
