Abdoulaye Soumaré Diarra

Volunteer Advisor in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning

Abdoulaye Soumaré Diarra holds an advanced degree in Accounting and Management, as well as a university diploma in Project Management. With over 20 years of professional experience, he has developed extensive expertise in project management, monitoring and evaluation within the fields of humanitarian aid and international development. His diverse mandates have strengthened his skills in planning and risk management, particularly in implementing projects in challenging and security-sensitive environments. 

In addition, Abdoulaye has carried out several volunteer mandates with Canadian non-profit organizations involved in the implementation of the Voluntary Cooperation Program (VCP) in Africa. These experiences have enabled him to support different partner organizations through capacity-building activities, while developing skills in monitoring, evaluation, and learning, particularly in projects focused on the rights of children, women, and girls. 

Abdoulaye is currently working with the International Bureau for Children’s Rights (IBCR) in Burkina Faso, as a Volunteer Advisor in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning for the Direction de la Justice Juvénile.
