Technical support for the development and the implementation of a child protection training program in Morocco

Dates : September 2021 to October 2022

The IBCR has been mandated by UNICEF to provide technical support to the Kingdom of Morocco’s Ministry of Solidarity, Social Development, Equality and Family in order to develop and implement a child protection training program.

This project is part of the implementation of the Integrated Public Policy for Child Protection Protection of Morocco (2015-2025), including a strategic focus on the establishment of integrated territorial child protection.

It aims to make this public policy more effective and efficient throughout the country, by giving greater responsibility to the regions, provinces and municipalities, to give provide better access to children’s protection services, and to improve the local, multisectoral and coordinated response to the various situations encountered by children.

Our objectives:

  •  The device has a teaching kit for a "children's rights" approach
  •  The sustainability of capacity building is ensured by the system
  •  The system benefits from a reinforcement of the capacities of the current actors
