SUMMARY OF THE OFFER
The International Bureau for Children's Rights (IBCR), a Canadian NGO dedicated to the protection and promotion of children's rights, is looking for an Organizational Management Consultant to support its partner, UDIMUF, as part of its PRIDE (Project for the Integral Strengthening of Children's Rights) voluntary cooperation programme.
Through this mandate, share your skills and expertise to advise, strengthen, and train UDIMUF's team in psychosocial and legal support to children to support the implementation of its mission. The mandate includes the development of guidelines, the design of related tools, the facilitation of trainings and technical support to the various activities of the organisation, among other tasks.

UDIMUF is a non-governmental organisation whose mission is to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of women and children, especially adolescent girls, through the recognition, development and strengthening of their capacities, providing spaces for political participation, citizenship, promotion, dissemination and advocacy to ensure the right to a life free from gender-based violence.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The volunteer will be responsible for :
- Contribute to and support UDIMUF in:
- Strengthening individual and organisational capacities in psychosocial support
- Developing guidelines and tools for the psychological follow-up of children and adolescents hosted and/or accompanied by the partner organisation
- Development of the referral system to partners and/or specialised structures structures
- The development of awareness-raising sessions for children on the rights of children in conflict with the law and/or child victims of violence, abuse or exploitation
- Review and improve the training modules offered by the partner organisation with personal development tools for children
- Develop and facilitate training workshops on mental health and human development psychology
- Train the legal and social team on the specific approach to children and young people
- Supporting the partner organisation in the implementation and evaluation of the acquired skills
- Actively participate in initiatives, events or activities planned by the partner organisation in the framework of PRIDE
- Support the strengthening of the partner organisation in all other activities related to its expertise
Other tasks related to the PRIDE project :
- Support the animation of the PRIDE Social Laboratory activities
- Write progress reports on the activities carried out during the mandate
- Participate in the promotion of international volunteering in Canada by participating in IBCR's communication efforts (writing articles or blog posts on the volunteering experience, videos, interviews, events...)
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Requirements
Technical skills :
- Fluency in written and spoken Spanish plus French/and or English
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in psycho-education, social work, psychology or related field
- At least 2-3 years experience in psycho-education, social work, psychology or other relevant experience related to the mandate
- Experience in the development and use of psychosocial and legal tools
- Experience in organizing and facilitating workshops and training sessions
- Strong analytical and writing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and tools from the Outlook environment (Teams, mail, SharePoint, Forms, etc.) and Google (Google Docs, Google Drive, Gmail, etc.)
People skills :
- High adaptability and ability to be flexible in the face of change
- Excellent interpersonal and participatory skills
- Ability to work both in a team and independently
- Ability to plan, prioritise, multi-task and be proactive
- Sensitivity to cultural differences and gender equality
- Promotion of a culture of learning and knowledge sharing within the partner organisation's team and with other volunteers
Assets
- Experience in organising and facilitating workshops and trainings
- Experience in a developing country or in international cooperation
- Knowledge of and/or interest in human and/or children's rights
- Knowledge of gender equality principles
- Knowledge of results-based management
- Knowledge of Canada's volunteer cooperation programme
