The Cooperation’s 6 to 8 are back

On June 8th, the International Bureau for Children’s Rights had the great pleasure to co-organise and participate in the 6 to 8 of the cooperation.

After a two-year break, this networking event was an opportunity to meet people interested in voluntary cooperation, but also to reconnect with former cooperators.

WUSC, SUCO, Carrefour international, CECI, UPA Développement international, CLÉ, CDF Canada, Youth Challenge International and CUSO were present with IBCR to present their voluntary cooperation program (PCV) funded by Global Affairs Canada.

The event was a great success with just over 50 people present at 3 Brasseurs-St-Paul in the old port of Montreal to network.

The 6 to 8 are meant to be moments of exchange between former and future volunteers as well as international organisations about voluntary cooperation mandates but also about this unique experience.

Other 6 to 8s are planned during the year, either face-to-face or online.  Stay tuned for the next 6 to 8 by subscribing to our newsletter!
