Specialised training on children’s rights for Afghan Police

A small IBCR team (the Director General, the Director of programmes and development Americas and MENA and the Senior programme manager), is currently giving a training in India. As part of the project, capacity building for Afghan National Police, Afghan National instructors came especially to Bombay for this 15-days training. At the end of their courses they will be able to teach, in police schools, mandatory modules on rights and protections of children, incorporated in the National Police training programmes.

During this training, the theoretical and practical classes focused on subjects such as legislative and institutional system of child protection, child development, child-friendly police techniques, or gender based violence.
