Honduras : major step in the training of DINAF professionals

Several dozens of professionals from the Directorate for Children, Adolescents and Family (DINAF) and from other major bodies of childhood protection in Honduras have met over the last few weeks in three workshops organised by the IBCR as part of the Proninez Project. This project which started in 2016, aims at improving the role and the actions/practices of public institutions and other key actors of the childhood protection system in Honduras.

These workshops which took place at the end of last August in Teguciglapa enabled the IBCR to validate the contents of a training kit, of a modus operandi, as well as of the application tools of a standard modus operandi.

Over fifty active professionals took part in these workshops, bringing forth useful comments and suggestions of adjustments. This is a major step to improve the final deliverables before the pilot training course scheduled next October.
