Fifty athletes including fifteen kids raced for children’s rights!

During a sunny saturday, the athletes of the IBCR team raced for the cause of children’s rights on April 21 on the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal. While proudly wearing the colors of the IBCR, fifty athletes including fifteen children took part in the Scotiabank Charity Challenge by participating in the 5K, the 10K or the Kids’ Run.

The IBCR is happy to have exceeded its fundraising goal by raising more than 6,800 $ in donations! All the funds raised will be used to finance the mandates of volunteers taking part in the PRODEF project, supported by Global Affairs Canada, but will also allow the support of evaluation missions and training on the field, as well as provide for awareness-raising activities on children’s rights at a community and regional level.

The IBCR would like to warmly thank everyone involved in the Scotiabank Charity Challenge, especially the children, as well as those who sponsored them!

Thank you also to our generous partners!
