Signature of an agreement between the IBCR and the Judicial Academy of Honduras

Judicial Academy Honduras

The IBCR signed an agreement with the Judicial Academy of Honduras on 28 June as part of its project to empower change agents against trafficking and exploitation of persons, especially women and girls in Honduras.

This engagement between the two institutions aims to establish collaboration and cooperation agreements between the two institutions to improve training programmes to enhance the skills of judges in the process of administering justice in the crime of trafficking in persons. The event took place at the Judicial Academy of Honduras, in the presence of the Director of the IBCR (through the Zoom interface), the Director of the Judicial School, as well as the entire IBCR team of Honduras.

The IBCR is very pleased to be able to confirm today, through the signing of this agreement, a demonstrated commitment to strengthening the capacities of judicial actors in the fight against human trafficking, with a particular focus on attention to children.Guillaume Landry, Director General, IBCR
