A series of roundtables to better understand child participation in Quebec

The International Bureau for Children’s Rights (IBCR) is presenting a series of expert roundtables this May to better understand and integrate the participation of child victims and witnesses of criminal offences in Quebec. The event is open to all Quebec professionals in the relevant sectors and will be presented on four occasions in four cities in Québec.  

The roundtables are offered within the framework of the IBCR’s REPERE project “Making Child Participation Effective to Strengthen the Child’s Experience“, which aims to raise awareness of the importance of child participation in Quebec’s judicial processes and to develop the skills of professionals in order to ensure that all children have a positive experience that respects their rights during their journey through the justice system.

The invitation is extended to anyone in Quebec in the justice or social intervention sector who, in the course of their career, is required to work with child victims or witnesses of criminal offences. 

The roundtables are offered in person, in 4 different cities. Register to the session closest to you (in french only):
