Lise Goin

Lise is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds a Master’s in international relations. After working in the financial sector, she engaged in humanitarian project management, notably within the contexts of the Iraq and Syrian humanitarian crisis. Lise has field experience in project implementation, particularly in child protection, health, food security and livelihoods with local and international NGOs. She cooperated with OCHA for the third-party monitoring of projects funded within the Syria Cross-border Humanitarian Fund. She also worked for the UNEP to mobilize key stakeholders for the implementation of the Convention of Biological Diversity.

While on mission, Lise noticed the harmful impacts of environmental pollution and disasters on the most vulnerable people, in particular infants and children. She came back to university in 2020 to study environmental health and disaster management to contribute to increased mainstreaming of environment in humanitarian projects.

She speaks fluently French, English and Spanish.
