Joséphine graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor’s degree, majoring in International Development and minoring in Gender, Sexuality, Feminism and Social Justice. She is passionate about the humanitarian world and the fight against social, ethnic and gender inequalities.

During her studies, she worked for the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration du Québec as a socio-economic assistance officer in family reunification and registration.

In May 2024, she joined IBCR as an intern in administrative project management and human resources, and in August became assistant to the management team.
