With two master’s degrees, one in project management (UQAM) and the other in international development and humanitarian action management (ULaval), Émilie has solid expertise in international cooperation project management, monitoring-evaluation and funding mechanisms. Her professional career, marked by experiences in Senegal, Rwanda and Canada, has enabled her to master the principles of results-based management (RBM) and to design gender-sensitive SERA systems, while training and coaching multidisciplinary teams.
Émilie has also distinguished herself in developing project proposals and strengthening partnerships, demonstrating her ability to navigate effectively between different actors and contexts. Her ability to effectively coordinate teams, collect and analyze data, and write reports aligned with donor requirements is an asset for any ambitious project. In addition, her in-depth knowledge of the Quebec and Canadian context in terms of donors and volunteer cooperation organizations enables her to play an active role in coordinating Canadian public engagement activities.
Passionate about promoting human rights and gender equality, she sees the opportunity to join IBCR as a unique chance to contribute to the realization of children’s rights.
