Émilie Claveau-Baril

In 2018, Émilie graduated from a Bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs and International Relations, where she developed a multidimensional critical analysis uniting law, economics and political science. She obtained her Master’s degree in Administration in International Development and Humanitarian Action Management at Université Laval in 2021. That same year, she consolidated her knowledge by specialising in international project management, which enabled her to apply the tools of results-based management in her work.

In 2019, Émilie joined an international cooperation project in a rural agricultural cooperative in Cambodia. There, she plays an active role in organisational development and financing infrastructure for the economic empowerment of the cooperative’s farming families. Émilie particularly enjoys using her creativity and critical thinking skills in the development of management tools. Émilie has also been a consultant for the planning of a socio-environmental impact study of mining activities in Boké, Guinea.

In 2021, she completed a 6-month internship at IBCR where her role was to support the finance and operations departments in project management. Passionate about social justice and management, Émilie enthusiastically joined the IBCR’s operations department as a project manager in 2022. Émilie is fluent in French, English and Spanish.
