Dimitrina Raby

Dimitrina joins the IBCR team with over 16 years of experience managing international and community development programs. Trained as an international cooperation volunteer and with subsequent management courses under her belt, her career took off in Mali where she worked for 5 years with Right To Play in positions of progressive responsibility up to Country Manager, bringing inclusive sport for development programming in protective environments for children and youth. Back in Montreal, she set up and coordinated the Pathways to Education school perseverance program in Pointe-Saint-Charles on behalf of the YMCAs of Quebec, where she supervised a large team of employees and volunteers.

Dimitrina then returned to international development, managing a project for women and youth participation and empowerment in Senegal for Equitas, a human rights education organization. After a brief stint as Account Director in fundraising for Canadian charities at Fundraising Direct, she recently ensured the opening of country offices in sub-Saharan Africa and Haiti for the CLE Volunteer Cooperation Program, focused on education, for the Paul Gérin-Lajoie Foundation. She is fluent in French and English.
