
Alexandra graduated with a master’s degree in international development management and humanitarian action, as well as a bachelor’s degree in international studies and a diploma in special education. She joined the Bureau in July 2024 as a Child Participation Advisor.
With over ten years of experience in child protection and support, Alexandra has worked in Quebec, Rwanda and Mexico in the public, community and non-governmental sectors.Throughout her career, she has supported children by creating spaces that encourage their participation, and by helping to strengthen the capacities of the organizations she has collaborated with.
In recent years, Alexandra has also focused on feminist and decolonial perspectives in international development and humanitarian action, both academically and in the field. Among her contributions, she completed a volunteer mandate in Uganda as an advisor on social inclusion and gender equality.
