The IBCR initiated a project on Peace and Tolerance Education for children of conflict-prone countries and regions. As part of this project, two international experts developed a set of materials promoting the concept of peaceful coexistence and tolerance among the younger generation of conflict areas. The international component of the Peace and Tolerance Educational Package was completed in 2003 and is being disseminated by IBCR to representatives of governments and civil society of these regions to assist them in their efforts in relation to the education of young people. |
