The IBCR is tackling the root causes of intolerance and conflict as well as seeking to empower young people to play an active part in attempts to prevent and resolve conflicts. This is done through the creation of sustainable peace networks amongst children and youth of divided societies, dissemination of training material and providing assistance to governments in meeting their international obligations in relation to children's rights.
