Newsletter on children and armed conflicts

In order to enhance communication and sharing of information between the various actors involved in the protection and promotion of the rights of children affected by armed conflict, the International Bureau for Children’s Rights’ team working on children and armed conflict produces a monthly newsletter that helps to promote and highlight the events and developments related to changes in the rights of children affected by armed conflict worldwide.

Indeed, our articles allow readers to stay informed, on a monthly basis, about the global evolution of achievements in children’s rights and about activities on the situation of children affected by armed conflict, including conference, events, calls for nominations, campaigns, advertisements and documentaries. Another section highlights developments and updates categorized under each relevant country. Part of this information is provided by representatives of international organisations and local civil society in the region, working in the field of promotion and protection of child rights.

The information is presented in English and French. If you have information about events and activities you would like to publish or share with us through the newsletter, please contact us at the following address: childsoldiers@ibcr.org.

If you wish to receive this newsletter every month by e-mail, please write to this address so that we will add you to our mailing list.
