Democratic Republic of Congo: New project evaluation for IBCR

The IBCR has begun the evaluation process of the P4P project – “Professionalization of the Police for Population and Peace”, an initiative of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

Between March 2015 and December 2018, the P4P project worked to train the Congolese National Police (PNC) staff. The project also aims to put in place sustainable training mechanisms for them.

Thus, the IBCR will carry out a field mission of ten days at the end of February – beginning of March, in order to gather all necessary information for the development of this evaluation. The final report is expected by the end of March 2019.
