Today, the Office is proud because it facilitated a think tank gathering more than 80 Haitian school teachers associated with the Canadian organisation Emergency Relief & Development Overseas – ERDO. 

As a result, the Bureau facilitated discussions to equip participating schools with a strong child protection policy, with reporting and referral mechanisms, to ensure that no child will be harmed, abused or exploited as part of their education.

In particular, some links have been made to IBCR’s own child protection policy, which is set up to preserve and promote the rights, safety and dignity of children involved in IBCR’s work.
