The International Bureau for children’s rights (IBCR) is pleased to invite you to participate in its first ever fundraising auction!

This event is part of our week dedicated to children’s rights from here and abroad, on the occasion of IBCR’s 25th anniversary, and the 30th anniversary of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

It aims to bring guests together around a common vision: to protect, defend and promote children’s rights around the world. Because all children are important, we are also taking action here in Quebec, with a recent project on combating the sexual exploitation of young people through new technologies.

As a non-profit, non-governmental organization, the IBCR needs you to continue its work in support of children’s rights. By your presence, you allow us to ensure the continuity of the actions we carry out with our partners, both nationally and internationally. All profits from this event will be used to fund our national and international projects.

Intended to raise funds to support the IBCR in its projects in Quebec and around the world, this fundraising event will take the form of a high-end cocktail reception, followed by an artistic auction. DJs and musical performances will colour this chic and warm event to ensure you have an exceptional evening.

The evening and auction will be hosted by Dany Vachon, a renowned speaker, entrepreneur and ex-“dragon”, as well as Corinne Asseraf, owner of Galerie 203 and Jonathan Cloutier, painter and former intern at th

e IBCR. Singer Shaharah Sinclair and her musicians will also bring a musical touch to this colourful evening.

30 generous artists donated their work for this evening  among which:

Armand Vaillancourt, Abdelfettah Jabri, Alex Kirouac, Anne Boucher, Arcade Latour, Atefeh Farzindar, Bex, Brigitte Bruyez, Catherine Lempereur, Charlo (Charles Richard), Elise Lebel, Elizabetta Fantone, Francine Lepage, Indika Weijerathne, Janet Goldstein, Jessica Gorlicky, Jonathan Cloutier, José Fillion, Luc Gauthier, Marc Alain Marticotte, Marie-Josée Bergeron, Marie-Noel Gérard, Olivier Corneau, Roxanne Tremblay, Simon Bachand et Suzanne Collelo.

The entire team at the International Bureau for Children’s Rights would like to thank all the artists, speakers and partners for their commitment to this event.

We look forward to seeing you there!
