We are indeed working, from now on, between new walls which have been put down inside Sainte-Albert-Le Grand's bright and luminous gymnasium, rented from the Dominican Fathers on April, 16th.

The construction work was achieved in a minimum record time since the day after signature, the first materials arrived and the construction builders started quickly their work on the premises.

It is, today, very important to us to mention that, the limited time used for the building of our infrastructures is definitely due to Luc Ouimet's, our Director of Administration, generosity and knowledge of construction work. He did not, at any time, hesitate to sacrifice his weekends and free time to alleviate any financial or manual failings, which always are an intense source of stress in these types of operations. Thanks to his efficiency, the construction work was completed 6 weeks after its start! What a record!

Every member of the Bureau has proved his profound desire to contribute to creating a working space echoing our identity. Everyone participated in every manual and physical work: from building up impressive desks, to organising moving out boxes, each of us were not afraid of carrying, cleaning or even building! Even though, of course, most of us are more at ease working with books or in front of their computers rather than manipulating nuts and screwdrivers!

This new experience enabled relationships to tighten and a more immediate discovery of new interns. On this basis, it was even more obvious that our work in these new premises was going to start with a strong cohesiveness and dynamism within our group.

Our set of mind was further reinforced by the structure itself of our working space: illuminated by outside's light, which is reflected through the gymnasium's massive windows, each team is working side by side, between different green plants that give a more exotic and warm taste to our working days.

Communication between us is definitely easier and more pleasant than in regular offices, which generally are divided and isolated.

We also take advantage of a very modern recreation room, where we can meet up for lunch near a charming water fountain, which we have been able to finance tanks to Rona's generosity and kindness! In fact, Rona has contributed to our premises' arrangements since we have been able to add a beautiful soul and warmth with green plants, a picnic table or even the type of doors we chose!

The environment around us highly contributes to the premises' splendour, since it is dominated by the spirituality, history and knowledge of the Sainte-Albert-Le-Grand's Convent, which occupies a field of 100 000 square feet! Above all, we are overwhelmed by a sense of humanism and education, and the outside's sunshine's light, which illuminates every day our work on behalf of children's rights.
